I typically think New Glarus brews exceptional beers, however I think they missed the mark a bit with their Chocolate Abbey of their Thumbprint series. Smells a bit like hot chocolate but the taste is more like an tootsie roll mixed with a dark beer. Not bad, but not great.

Hello and welcome to AleDog.
I have created this blog for a couple reasons.
1) To provide beer reviews for those that are sick of highbrow reviews that are typical of most beer publications.
2) Document my beer travels.
